Dr. Wiles grew up on Long Island, New York, in the small town of Northport. From an early age, he started developing his interests in animal husbandry and veterinarian medicine. As a child, he raised chickens, ducks, geese, and goats. He also showed dairy goats and cared for horses, cattle, and pigs. During his teenage years, he did historic restorations as a carpenter and volunteered at his local fire department. With an interest in equine dentistry, internal and neonatal medicine, and reproduction, Dr. Wiles will answer any of your questions regarding the care of your horses. His undergraduate education is from SUNY Cobleskill and Cornell University. After graduating college, he received a graduate degree in veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University in Alabama. Dr. Wiles graduated from his class with top honors and has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1994. He has also received advanced training in reproductive physiology, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, and equine dentistry. Dr. Wiles has experience working with small and farm animal medicine, as well as small animal orthopedics.
