Dr. Tropic joined the Tsolum team in March 2020. From a young age, Mirna grew up spending every spare moment working at a barn looking after horses and any other animal that wandered by. From there her desire to become a vet grew naturally. Following a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, she completed her veterinary studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in February 2019. When the opportunity to work in mixed animal practice arose, it was a no-brainer decision to be back around the animals she first fell in love with.
"Dr Topic is very thorough in her evaluations of my birds. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. She really takes the time to go over everything and to make sure I understand what's going on and how to prevent things from happening to the rest of the flock. She really took the time to help set me up for success when I first got my birds both over the phone and in person. I will never be able to thank her enough for all her help over the years." - Raphael J
"Dr. Topic is amazing. She always makes time for my birds, and I always feel like she gives me her undivided attention and has my chickens' best interest at heart. She is so compassionate and caring towards the birds. On more than one occasion she has allowed me to bring my chicken day of to be seen. She has this magic cocktail that always makes them feel better. We are so thankful for Dr Topic and her services" - Shaylee A
