Dr. Aubrey Alfaro moved to Fresno to attend Fresno State where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology. She then received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State in 2004. She moved back to the valley with her husband, Dan and began working as an associate veterinarian at San Joaquin Veterinary Hospital. Aubrey has two boys, ages 3 and 6, that keep her on her toes. When she is not working she is either on the soccer field, swim lessons with the kids or doing home improvement projects around the house. She currently has just one dog - JayDee- who is 14 years old and happy to be the queen of her domain.
Dr. Ken Stocks was raised here in Fresno, graduating from Central Union High School. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from Occidental College, then went on to receive his Masters in Microbiology, followed by his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from U.C. Davis in 1984. He lives in Clovis with his wife Sandra, their two rescue dogs Buddy and Dekes, and their calico kitty Paisley. On his off hours he enjoys snow skiing, tennis, fishing, and spending time in his woodworking shop. Since acquiring San Joaquin Veterinary Hospital in 1997, he has worked hard to advance the practice as a high quality American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital.
