Dr. Fitzpatrick attended veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada. She completed her clinical experience at the University of Pennsylvania before jumping into emergency medicine. She enjoyed her time as a student extern at Salmon Brook and was happy to have an opportunity to join the team. She has a special interest in exotic medicine and still has a love for emergency medicine. She has merged her undergraduate degree in Zoology with veterinary medicine by offering bee colony medicine as well. Outside of Salmon Brook, she spends her time with her two cats, two bunnies, chickens, and her Western Hognose snake. She also enjoys cooking, puzzles, trying new breweries and writing articles for the Granby Drummer.
Dr. McNamara went to veterinary school at Atlantic Veterinary College. She has always had a passion for medicine and companion animals. She loves that each day at Salmon Brook brings a different challenge and that she is always learning something new. Dr. McNamara grew up in Granby and always knew she wanted to come back to Granby to live someday. Ever since she was in high school she talked of being a veterinarian at Salmon Brook Veterinary Hospital. Dr. McNamara worked in Boston for a while but is a country girl at heart, and is happy to be back home.
