Lange Animal Hospital first opened its doors in West Knoxville on December 26, 1977, under the direction of twin-brother veterinarians, Rick and Randy Lange. Originally from Iowa, the Langes lived in South Florida before deciding to relocate to Eastern Tennessee. They chose Knoxville as their new home because they loved the beauty of the area and the friendliness of the people.
