I am originally from Joplin, MO and therefore I consider Southwest Missouri my home. I am married and I enjoy canoeing and hiking although I never seem to have the time. I started James River Animal Hospital in the summer of 1985. We were the first practice in the region with a true interest in caring for birds as well as dogs and cats and soon expanded to other exotics. I greatly enjoy caring for pets and value developing bonds with them.
