Teresa Gregory grew up in Morehead, Ky. She attended Morehead State University, receiving her bachelor’s degree in biology. She attended Auburn University, receiving her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine degree in 1992. Dr Gregory is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. She is the mother of a teen-aged son named Nicholas and many feathered and furred pets. She spends her spare time spaying/neutering rescue pets, birding, baking and making preserves. In 2011, Dr. Gregory spayed or neutered 3,181 dogs, cats, rabbits and rats on her days off.
