Commonwealth Vet Clinic


Commonwealth Vet Clinic is a privately owned, mixed-animal veterinary clinic in Georgetown, Kentucky. CVC was opened in October 2022 by two Scott County natives excited to return to their hometown and provide exceptional veterinary care. They will see chickens, ducks and other backyard fowl.

Abbey Biddle, DVM

Dr. Abbey Biddle is a proud Scott County native with deep roots in the local community. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2014 before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University and Texas A&M University, graduating in 2020. Since then, Dr. Biddle has been practicing as a mixed animal veterinarian, providing care for both small and large animals. She has a special passion for equine medicine and reproduction, livestock care, and small animal preventative medicine.

Emily Bridge, DVM

Dr. Bridge is a Georgetown native. After completing her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Kentucky in 2010, she pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2014. Since earning her doctorate, she has worked as a mixed animal veterinarian. She has a special interest in small animal surgery and small ruminant medicine and surgery. She is excited to be back in her hometown doing what she loves. In her free time, Dr. Bridge enjoys spending time walking with her dogs, reading, and international travel.
