Michael graduated from The University of Sydney in 2005. His career started in rural mixed practice in the United Kingdom, working for 2 years in Hertfordshire and Berkshire. While there he adopted his Border Collie cross ‘Hogie’ who accompanied him back to Australia. Away from the clinic, Michael and his partner share their home in Bungendore with the obligatory menagerie, including 2 cats, a sheep, a cockatoo and some chickens. Hogie and Lucy (a Kelpie) accompany Michael on his early morning jogs (he may one day complete a marathon!). He is also a keen cook and regularly spends time creating culinary delights (and catastrophes).
