Animal Kindness Veterinary Hospital

Animal Kindness Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital in Las Vegas, NV. They will see pet chickens and ducks.

Brian McAllister, DVM

Dr Brian McAllister grew up in Birmingham, AL, and graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. His first job as a Veterinarian was here at Animal Kindness! After working at a few other hospitals in town, Dr. Brian and his wife Jen purchased Animal Kindness from Dr. Holt in March 2019. Dr. McAllister enjoys seeing many types of pets, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pocket pets. He performs many surgical procedures but has a fondness for foreign-body removal. Pets seem to ingest the craziest things! During his career, Dr McAllister spent 5 years specializing in feline care. Some call him the cat whisperer. He is passionate about providing the calmest environment possible for all pets and has taught the entire staff more gentle handling of animals. Through his guidance, Animal Kindness has become a “no scruff” hospital for cats. He is also passionate about “bringing kindness back to medicine.” Your pets will be treated like they are a member of his family.

Crystal Munguia, DVM

It was a collection of moments that helped Dr. Munguia fall in love with the veterinary field and drove her to be a part of it. When she was younger, all she knew was that she wanted to do something related to healthcare. During her undergraduate career at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Munguia tried working with various research labs ranging from dairy nutrition to bird ecology and evolution. These experiences furthered her desire to work with animals, but it wasn’t until she started working in a small animal clinic that she knew she needed to be a part of this field. Dr. Munguia was later accepted to veterinary school, and it was one of the best decisions she’s ever made. Being able to work with animals, people, and medicine were always a big goal for her, and she so thankful this field has allowed all of those things to happen.

Parveen Hothi, DVM

Dr. Parveen Hothi was born in England and raised in Southern California. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California, San Diego. During her junior year, she volunteered in Thailand and Laos, working with elephants and Asian black bears—an experience that solidified her passion for veterinary medicine. Dr. Hothi began her veterinary career by obtaining her degree in Registered Veterinary Technology from Mt. San Antonio College. She then pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University, completing her clinical training at the University of Florida.

Tracy Wachbrit, DVM

Dr. Tracy Wachbrit grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She always had an interest in science and physiology as a child, routinely participating in science fairs and taking elective science courses long before college. Like many, her love for animals originated young as she grew up surrounded by cats, fish, frogs, and lizards. As a teenager, Dr. Wachbrit performed in dressage shows and eventually rode and trained Thoroughbred racehorses while pursuing her first college degree in Equine Science. Though she began her college career with an interest in horses, Dr. Wachbrit found during vet school that she loved working on various species, including but not limited to cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, goats, horses, and small “pocket pet” mammals. Her areas of interest include neurology, cardiology, virology, exotic animal medicine, and client education.
