Novel goose parvovirus
Novel goose parvovirus (NGPV) causes short beak and dwarfism syndrome (SBDS). Most ducks develop asymptomatic infections, but those with significant clinical symptoms showed growth retardation, atrophied beaks, a protruding tongue outside of the beak, swelling and hemorrhage of the thymus, and fractured feathers and legs.
