The Avian Health and Food Safety Laboratory (AHFSL) is a branch of the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL) and is strategically located in Puyallup, WA at the WSU Puyallup Research & Extension Center. The state-of-the-art laboratory provides comprehensive testing services for all avian species, including necropsy, bacteriology, mycology, virology, serology and DNA testing. Additionally, AHFSL offers comprehensive microbiological food safety testing for both pathogens and indicator/spoilage organisms in a wide range of product types.
