Sodium sulfate, also known as sulfate of soda, disodium sulfate, or Glauber's salt, is used as a saline cathartic. It is sometimes used in cases of heavy metal poisoning to prevent absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. However, it should never be used in cases where birds may have an impaired gastrointestinal tract or are dehydrated.
Storage/Stability: Store in tight containers at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
