Niclosamide is a chloronitrophenol anthelmintic used for the treatment of tapeworm infections. Niclosamide, once marketed in the US under the brand name Niclocide, was voluntarily withdrawn from market by Bayer in 1996.
Care should be taken as it may be toxic to waterfowl.
