Midazolam

Midazolam is a type of benzodiazepine used off-label in chickens as a rapid-acting sedative and anesthetic premedication, often given for controlling seizures. Studies show that chickens metabolize midazolam quickly, with an elimination half-life of roughly 1.45 hours.
