Josamycin is a macrolide antibiotic which is effective in vitro against Mycoplasma and Grma-positive Cocci (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Diplococcus).
It is used in the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases, sinusitis, synovitis, and arthritis caused by mycoplasma and gram positive cocci in chickens.
