Deltamethrin is a widely used synthetic pyrethroid insecticide used to control parasites and pests in agriculture, inside households, lawns, ornamental gardens, golf courses, and on pets. Deltamethrin works by disrupting the nervous system of insects.
Caution: Toxicity Concern
Deltamethrin is toxic to chickens. Exposure to deltamethrin can induce changes in relative organ weight, alter blood biochemistry, and damage liver and intestinal tissues (Y Liu et al., 2022).
